John Turkey’s Nightmares is the solo project of Oakland’s Sam Carpenter—raw, strange, and best heard alone, preferably at night. Blending '60s melodies with '90s grit, his sound recalls Nirvana, Neil Young, and MJ Lenderman. Albums span lo-fi confessionals to eerie instrumentals. This June, he tours NorCal and reissues his debut, Rockapeejay, remastered and trimmed down by 40 tracks.

Tom Henry

LA-based/Chicago-born musician Tom Henry plays rock n' roll songs influenced by power pop, garage, psych, and folk. Following up 2023's Lonesome Times EP, his debut full length Songs to Sing and Dance To, produced by & featuring Kai Slater of Sharp Pins and mixed by Jonny Bell (Tijuana Panthers, Young Guv, Hanni El Khatib), is set to be released on June 27th 2025 by Royal Oakie Records.
